It was my first time beginning a school year with my own class (woo hoo!) Setting the routines, classroom management, lining up for lunch and overall crowd control was my main focus. I never dreamed it would take us 35 minutes to get ready for lunch, or 45 minutes to pack up to go home. But it did. Now it doesn’t. That’s something to celebrate! We are still a work in progress but I’m very proud of my class. They are an awesome group of kids and together we have become a great community. By the third day of school they were like old friends! They teach me something new everyday and that’s why I love my job.
9月我们做了很多手工艺品，在开放参观时闪闪发光。有些项目是漫长而痛苦的(每三分钟就停下来复习一下胶水和剪刀的规则，可能会占用你整个下午的时间!)但它们完成后看起来确实很可爱。我最喜欢的是我们的小鸡小鸡树!
最后，我庆祝十月，因为这个周末我开始了我的最后一节研究生课程。只剩下四个周末了!还有，上周末我参加了纽约的扫盲考试。我只是在划掉我清单上所有的事情!
